On January 12, 2016 the Center for Civic Cooperation celebrated 20th anniversary of its foundation and existence.

After two decades of its acting and commitment to development of human resource and creation of an enabling environment for civil society development in southwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have tol mention only the most significant achievements and challenges. We truly believe that only empowered individuals and communities could bring progress and general social development.

In a country that recovers from war and still faces with social, political and economic transition, we believe that the importance and timeliness of our actions couldn't neglect taking into account our human, professional and technical resources and the complexity of the social and legal framework, governance structures and environment in which we operate.

Philanthropy, strong individuals, sustainable communities and lasting peace have been our guidelines from the outset. In the first decade of our existence we have been focused on the construction of inter-ethnic relations and reconciliation processes in divided communities in southwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Continuing the same way further, we have focused on creating better living conditions. Combining experience with new technologies, we encourage community dialogue, communication and unity in seeking and implementing sustainable solutions and creating better living conditions.

Staff of the Center for Civic Cooperation would like to thank all citizens our beneficiaries; colleagues of partner organizations; friends; volunteers; co-workers, representatives of the local authorities; donors and media to their support and contribution to our work.
